Tiny top - a complete bust and waste of perfectly pretty fabric
Hmm, this had the potential to be a really cute top. But there's something funky going on with the armholes. The straps just won't behave for me, and I know what the problem is I made them too wide, and that's making them stand straight out to the sides. I still haven't decided if it bothers me enough to redo them. Again. I already redid them once, as the opening for the head was too small, the tiny one's head didn't fit thru! Ugh, I'm a teenytiny bit annoyed with this top. I think I might just leave it like it is now, and make another one. Oh, did I mention I also made this too small? I could just get it on her, as it's quite tight. Actually, I might just take the whole thing apart and do it all over again. Yes, I think I'll do that. Very annoyed with this top. Hmph.

I think you should do another one because the design of it is so cute! Then you could redo the arms and post it on Etsy?
ReplyDeleteAmybel - I already redid it. :) (have to wait to take new pics, the batteries in my camera died) Undoing all the seams and everything took me longer than it originally took me to sew the whole thing up. I've actually been toying with the idea of sewing up some of these for sale..
