I love making baby-stuff!

Altho, technically, my babe isn't a baby anymore, since she already turned one.. Anyways, tiny kiddie clothes are just so incredibly fast to make, that's why I just love making them. I started making this tunic (it's oficially a babydoll, but I kinda prefer the word tunic) last Friday and finished it yesterday, and I think it turned out really cute. :) I still have to get a ribbon to put thru the eyelet row at the waist, altho I don't think it looks bad the way it is now.

It could have been just a bit longer, but I decided to knit until I ran out of yarn, and this is how far I got. And I have a feeling that it will stretch a bit in the wash, at least the "skirt-part" felt really stretchy. I think this is something the babe will be able to wear for a long time. :)

Pattern: Kaia Babydoll by Rachel Evans
Size: 12mo
Yarn: Mandarin Naturel (the pink) and the other is of unknown origin, I've had it in my stash for years
Needles: 6mm & 4,5mm

And just because I have the cutest baby ever (teeheehee, don't all moms think that?), here are two more pics for you. :)

  2. Thank you! I have another skein of the pink yarn, maybe I'll make a hat or something with it at some point. I'm sure something will come along. :)
